Investigating

Washington University IT is actively working with a vendor to resolve one of the root causes affecting files.wustl.edu. In the interim, the following workaround may allow users with wifi enabled devices to log into their computers more quickly:

Workaround:
1) take computer off the network / go into airplane mode
2) log in to the computer normally (this bypasses files.wustl.edu)
3) once you're logged in, join the computer back to the network

This should allow access to email, teams, and network resources. Files.wustl.edu will continue to be unavailable, so file storage, faxes and other functions will not work.

Teams are working to resolve the issue. Please call 314-933-3333 if you have any questions. We appreciate your patience as we work to restore service.
