WashU IT is aware of a national Amazon Web Services vendor outage which began overnight and may affect multiple services. Currently the list of services known to be at least intermittently impacted includes:

Canvas
Jira
Confluence
Monday.com project management site
Teams
Clinic credit card processing

Amazon has identified the root cause of the issue and is taking steps to restore service.

WashU IT is aware of an issue that affected Amazon Web Services overnight. At this time we are unaware of any ongoing impact, though some customers did experience brief disruptions to Duo and Canvas.

Teams are continuing to monitor service health.
